Hogan Lovells Cadwalader’s Wes Misson, Global Managing Partner - Finance, and Jed Miller, Global Head of the Significant Risk Transfer Group (SRT), have coauthored a chapter in Private Credit Laws and Regulations 2027 examining private credit’s evolving role in fund finance.
“Private credit in fund finance: from customer to colleague” looks at how private credit funds are moving beyond their traditional role as consumers of capital to become lenders and transaction arrangers, as well as the increasingly competitive and collaborative relationship between private credit and banks.
The authors explore how this evolution is playing out through structures such as credit risk transfer transactions and other partnerships between banks and private credit funds. The chapter is available to read online free of charge.Read it here.
